About Mercedes...
Mercedes Swan is a workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) speaker, human resources consultant, and the founder of Career Love — a community-focused movement that centers the experience of Black women and supports organizations seeking to build equitable workplaces grounded in belonging, purpose, and liberation.
As a certified HR professional and DEI practitioner, Mercedes blends her years of corporate, higher education and non-profit HR experience with her Career Love Framework to help audiences move from performative inclusion to operationalized, people-first strategy. She has spoken at conferences, universities, and organizations across the U.S., inspiring thousands to reimagine what equity, inclusive leadership, and joy look like in the workplace.
